The international event "Art&Moto" took place in Lisbon, offering a refreshing mix of vintage, café racers and custom-built motorbikes and visual arts and literature. The event’s main activities were held over two days at LxFactory, Lisbon - April 27th-28th, 2013 -, after which the art exhibition remained open at the "Ler Devagar" bookstore.
Mustering up Portuguese and Spanish artists as well as a host of participants from other European countries, the event was more than a simple display of visual arts. With its further merging of literature and vintage and custom bikes, it stood out in showing how these exquisite bikes, of unique characteristics, are works of art in their own right.
The exhibition and events focused on lifestyles of urban subcultures where motorcycles, art, literature, music and fashion play a major role. Given the international popularity of such trends, participants could enjoy the opportunity for tourism and recreational activities.
